Not everyone wants to or has the time to make a purse, but that shouldn’t stop the artist in you from painting one. So, if you have one, here are some neat tips to paint an exciting purse for just about any occasion. I’m using Tulip paints as my dimensional paint (they come in slick, matte, gloss, pearl, metallic, glitter, puffy & more) and soft non-dimensional paint. I want to also recommend my new favorite Lumiere non-dimensional paint for those who want to add a really solid metallic look.
I hope you enjoyed this demonstration. I found this cute lace purse and thought it would be a great one to paint. If the lace is too much for you, then try this one. Absolutely, the ideal purse to paint. Just remember to press your paints into the surface. All fabrics respond differently to paints, so test the bottom of the purse to see how it responds to your brand of paint before going front and center. Use the lace as an outline instead of sketching and see what you come up with. Be sure to share it with a friend.
